Detra Energy brought clean energy awareness closer to young people through an activation at Rubaga Girls Secondary School, showcasing renewable energy and clean cooking technologies to students and the school community.

The Rubaga Girls engagement was not part of the UECCC programme. Instead, it reflects Detra Energy's broader commitment to reaching communities through partnerships and outreach initiatives.
Our work is strengthened by relationships with organisations including SNV, GIZ Uganda, NREP, ICLEI, UNACC, the Ministry of Energy & Mineral Development and other sector stakeholders. These partnerships and community platforms enable us to take clean energy awareness to more people across Uganda.
